I am deeply ashamed of this post. Please everyone forgive my codriver. He is a merely an electrical engineer/javaslave and thus there is a deficit in his understanding of the world. Should Ashgabat be isothermal as he presumes, then the adjective is misapplied.

The joke should read as follows:
Q:Why does the closed system of Ashgabat not transfer heat to or from its surroundings?
A: Because it is ashgiabatic.

I hope I have fixed this before more permanent damage is done amongst our impressionable readers.

Dear Navy,
Keep this dude away from your isobars and thermoclines because he may not be figuring it all right.

Seriously don't worry though. I forgive you, Patrick. You probably just had an adiabatic lapse.

The drum crash is loud where I am.

Really? I couldn't hear it over here.

By the way, you are isobarred from making any more puns related to thermodynamics.
