Route Map 1st Draft

The Route

So is that an actual attempt at plotting a course in Mongolia, or are you trying to replicate what our actual path will be if we get lost and drive in circles? Because if so, I'm insulted cuz apparently your shit hasn't heard of a sextant.

I also didn't think we had to go so far north in kazakhstan?

We probably don't have to go that far north . . . I need to go back and double-check everything but I assume that the northern crook of the marked route is at Aqtobe. I think there's a major-ish town southwards of there (Atyrau or Gur'yev) with some roads marked on some maps. The really direct route from the north end of the Caspian to the north end of the Aral goes through a whole bunch of nothing.

I kind of guessed on the location of Volgograd too.

The Mongolian leg was lifted directly from the MR website. We can straighten that out if the implications of lost-ness offend you.
